Duties of Train Drivers in Regard to Signals 1. The Driver must observe and obey all signals, whether the cause of the signal being shown is known to him or not. 2. But, he shall not, however, trust entirely to signals, but must always be vigilant and cautious. 3. When weather is not clear due to fog or any other cause and fixed Signals are not visible from usual distance, the Driver shall reduce speed especially when approaching a station and take every precaution to enable the train to be stopped at a signal if signal is at danger. 4. The Driver before moving his train shall satisfy himself that proper signals are displayed for the movement. 5. The Driver and assistant Driver shall observe the hand signals of the Cabin men , points man and station Master when approaching or passing a cabins or stations.
