What is AC Sleeper Class?

Air Conditioned Sleeper (AC Sleeper) class is the premium class of Pakistan Railways. It is luxurious and comfortable as compare to other classes. It is an expensive class and Ticket price of this class is equal to the local flight’s fare.

AC Sleeper is attached with a few trains in Pakistan. It has 2 & 4 Person compartments (cabins) with attach toilet. It’s secure and have complete your privacy. You can lock the door inside the cabin.

It has large space for luggage, Charging points, and special lights for reading books.

In 2 personal cabins, a third person can travel whether it is a child or adult by paying the charges of AC Sleeper Class. Similarly in 4 persons cabin 5th person can travel if you have purchased the ticket of same class of him/she.

Which trains have AC Sleeper Class?

Only four trains have this facility between Karachi and Lahore i.e Karachi Express, Shah Hussain Express, Tezgam Express and Khyber Mail.

UP means Karachi to Lahore.

Down means Lahore to Karachi.

 

According to Table Fare, there is  a reverse relationship between Fare and Stoppages. When fare is increasing stoppages are decreasing. With low ticket price you have to travel a train with more stoppages while high ticket price means minimum stoppages en-route and train will reach the destination earlier as compared to more stoppages.

Khyber Mail, Tezgam Express and Karachi Express travel between Lahore and Karachi via Sahiwal route on mainline while Shah Hussain Express runs between Lahore and Karachi via Faisalabad.
