TOURIST SAFARI TRAIN INAUGURATED BY CHAIRMAN SENATE MR SADIQ SANJRANI | GOLRA SHARIF ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN RAILWAYS

        Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani inaugurated on Sunday a tourist safari train at a ceremony at Islamabad’s Golra Sharif railway station.   The safari train will take tourists on a sightseeing trip from the Golra railway station to Attock Khurd every Sunday. Railways Minister Azam Khan Swati was also present at the inauguration ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Sanjrani said the upper house of Parliament will extend full cooperation for the railways’ progress, which he said, is the backbone of the economy.    He stressed that the PR’s development is the need of the hour. Swati said the Pakistan Railways has an important role in the development of the country’s economy. Pakistan is the sixth-most populous country with a population exceeding 200 million people. The growth rate is 2% that is very high. The population of Pakistan is increasing alarmingly as said by Thomas Robert Malthus; “ Human population grows exponentially (i.e. doubling with each cycle) while food production grows at an arithmetic rate (i.e. by the repeated addition of a uniform increment in each uniform interval of time).   The population of the country is shifting/migrating towards big cities i.e Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, etc. for the better facilities of life. There are many reasons for shifting but most of them are Education, Medical, and employment facilities.   As we know that our economy is agriculture based and more than 70% population directly or indirectly depends upon agriculture. Detailed REVIEW of Jaffar Express Train Quetta to Peshawar | Pakistan Railways

  JAFFAR EXPRESS runs between Quetta and Peshawar via Lahore daily. Train operated by Pakistan Railways. It takes approximately 33 hours to cover the distance of 1650 Kms from Quetta to Peshawar. JAFFAR EXPRESS CONNECTING the people of all provinces and creating  Jaffar Express train has AC SLEEPER, AC BUSINESS, AC STANDARD AND ECONOMY class coaches in its rake. Some coaches are attached and detached from Lahore with Jaffar Express. In the Ghat section (Lalamusa-Peshawar and Sibi-Quetta) limited coaches are attached with train due to high gradient.  The Jaffar Express named after the prominent Baloch leader MIR JAFFAR KHAN JAMALI. The Train was inaugurated on 16 April 2003 by Prime Minister Mir Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali. Initially, It ran between Quetta and Rawalpindi and then in 2017 it was extended to Quetta to Peshawar.  AC SLEEPER has 2 & 4 Person Cabins with attached separate toilets.
